Our 2D and 3D Vision sensors are used world-wide to solve challenging inspection tasks in all kinds of industries. We are now looking for a Strategic Product Manager to join our team.
As a member of the product management team your primary responsibility is to ensure that the company's machine vision product portfolio remains attractive and competitive in the long-term. You will achieve this by engaging in strategic work and prioritizing development activities in collaboration with internal and external interfaces worldwide.
Your role involves managing both existing and future products, and you will set the direction for the portfolio life cycle to grow sales. To achieve this, you will need to have a deep understanding of the market and customer needs. You will gather refined market and customer insights and communicate them to the R&D organization to guide product development.
As Strategic Product Manager, you will prepare the market launch of the product, working in close cooperation with our global sales organization to ensure the product's success. You will develop the marketing strategy, provide sales training and support to help them effectively promote and sell the product.
You have a technical or business degree from higher education and have several years of experience working with machine vision or industrial automation products. In addition, you should have experience in business case formulation, and be confident in discussing and prioritizing technical requirements to define product specifications.
Strong social and intercultural competences are also important for success in this role. You will be working with internal and external interfaces worldwide, so the ability to communicate effectively with people from different cultures and backgrounds is critical.
