The industry is becoming more and more automated and there is a high need for smart and intuitive vision systems that are easy to integrate and operate. SICK’s Robot Guidance System team in Linköping, is looking for an application engineer who wants to be part of the new industry era with smart sensors and connected systems. We work on global market with an ever-increasing need for vision guided robot applications.
In short – our team put eyes on robots and make them smart to realize flexible and optimized production at our customers.
Your Role
As an Application Engineer in our Robot Guidance team, you have a key role in bringing the customer needs into our developed solutions and bringing the solutions to life at our customers. In this role you will help and assist our global sales organization as a technical expert on our systems performing feasibility studies, system commissioning, robot integration, technical support, development of customized solutions, trainings, trade show demos etc. Focus is to have a close customer relation and solve our customer’s automation challenges by help of using our Robot Guidance systems. You are also a key player in bringing the market and customer needs into our R&D organization.
