SICK Joins IndX as the Fifth Partner: A New Era of Innovation

We are thrilled to announce that SICK has joined IndX as the fifth partner, marking a significant milestone in our journey to drive innovation in sensor technologies and industrial automation.

This collaboration is set to enhance our capabilities and expand our horizons in the ever-evolving industrial landscape.

Why IndX?

IndX connects us with startups and technologies from around the world. This partnership will help us:

  • Scout and integrate innovative ideas
  • Enhance our manufacturing and logistics operations
  • Support regional growth in the industrial automation sector

As Joakim Delbom, the Managing Director of the Linköping innovation center, explains, “IndX offers a context that works globally and locally, with the added advantage of scouting companies internationally.”

Collaborative Synergy

With SICK having thousands of products in the market, collaboration is essential. IndX provides a powerful engine for scouting startups, creating opportunities to build knowledge and learn from each other. We are excited to work alongside Husqvarna Group, Toyota Material Handling Europe, Saab, and Väderstad to explore new opportunities and drive the future of industrial automation together.

Looking Ahead

For 2025, we are  looking forward to innovations in sensor technologies, software, and AI solutions. We aim to develop our ecosystem for customers and improve our in-house production and logistics operations. Connecting with startups and discovering new technologies is our top priority, and collaborating with other partner companies on proof-of-concept projects and other initiatives in IndX is equally important.

Join Us on This Exciting Journey

This collaboration with IndX is one of many that SICK has embarked on to push the boundaries of innovation in industrial automation.

Stay tuned for more exciting developments!
